today's study date was unproductive ! actually it was the most homework i did in the whole month but i dont suppose 3 things ticked off the To-Do List counts as very productive?My Fair Lady was draggy but pretty good (so far). It's a friggin' 3hr show ! so we only watched 3/4 of it ): and i feel so cheated to know that Audrey Hepburn didnt do her own singing in the show, but heck, her character was annoying as hell. think Helena + Sweeney Todd's beggar wife Lucy. gross much.
i have seen lynette at least 16 times this whole month.
and she told me that last night, she even dreamt about me.

then today went to Tampines Mall to meet with some relatives for lunch

i think i can safely say that farewell '09 was quite a success :Deven though i stayed up till 2am last night/this morning compiling the video and writing last minute letters, it was all worth it.
i think the vid was quite well-recieved, esp the part with Lynette in the end
everyone loves the 老大 :D
and performance was quite well done too ! considering the little time we had to practice and rehearse properly, it went well and it was awesome fun dancing/singing :D
and, haha, presents were fabby too ! even though clara strongly protested against many gay things we bought, our gay seniors loved it ! i think we managed to match the presents quite well to their owners (:
and the sop ones loved the sop 1 tee ! yayyyyy so glad about that ~~~
im so proud of my own presents man. it was def last minute (shucks D:) but they still turned out quite pweeeeeeeeety in the end.

and after farewell, a bunch of us greens and blues headed over to sumo house for dinner. i was like the only greenbadge sop one there please ._.
but it was awesome eating and talking and crapping with the sop ones blues <3

job attachment at Volterra Asia Pte Ltd was quite enjoyablebasically lots of shredding, photocopying and filing, and orientations on the first day.
anyhoo, lynette slept over on thurs and we watched Sweeney Todd :D

just to clear any misunderstandings, before this i had never watched Sweeney Todd in my whole life, i was just in love with the plot (credit Wikipedia), the historical background (credit Horrible Histories) and of course, the protagonist !

yes Johnny Depp was amazing but so was the entire cast
i especially loved Ed Sanders, who acted as Toby and had the most amazing voice on earth !
and he's only 16 this year ! let us all bow our heads in prayer that puberty will not destroy his lovely choir voice as it did to Nick Jonas.

i downloaded all 20 songs from the soundtrack and my favourites are By The Sea, Green Finch & Linnet Bird, Not While I'm Around, Pirelli's Miracle Elixer, Pretty Women, and Worst Pies in London

and i remember during Pretty Women, when Alan Rickman (aka Severus Snape) started singing "bum bum bum bum etc." in his bass voice, Lynette commented, "HA, he sounds like a bullfrog."

"bumped" into Ms Lim at tkgs today. recieved "constructive criticism" about my SL-ing ("Why you yesterday so fierce ah !") and some not so constructive criticism about choir.
definitely gotta buck up, especially in my teaching attitude and method.
