A GREAT BIG HAPPY NEW YEAR EVE EVERYONE!
yes! now i am literally drowning in green! my parents agreed to paint my room n my uncle just finished painting it the other day! apple green! plus, we bought a full length mirror n a new (green) lamp. that may be the closest i can get to re-decorating my room, but im contented.
i think atiqah is superbly lucky. i wish i had chosen to study french instead of mep. thanks to madeline, ive totally loved french since i was little. plus, i just finished reading a book about paris, which makes me wanna learn their language even MORE. everything's a little mixed up now, so im not really sure if i got in or not n my class, cos all the mep students will be in one same class. i totally dont wanna experience that same embarrassing feeling i had on the first day of p2 again. for all those who are clueless, i transferred to wdp in p2. my mum said that the letter that was given to her wasnt clear but she knew it was either 2J or 2I. (get it? the small curve at the end) well, i was purple house for PE. my mum thought each class was one seperate colour each n as cenyun was green house n in 2J, so... well, u shd know wat happened... hameed n felix wont let me forget it. felix keeps taunting, "i remember got one small little girl who told ms chan her name wasnt called... (mainc uproarious laughter)" thats one of the reasons i hate him so much.

now dat we've had our laughs, let's continue. i had an amazing time at the tiny party i had on christmas eve! atiqah, nur atiqah n hameed came over to my house for dinner n small gift exchange. too bad camille couldnt come, but we still got her presents! aft dinner n LOADS of talking, we played with sparklers, bomb-bags, the works. then we had our little gift exchange. thank u the 3 of u girlies for the green pillow, money bank, n little angel windchime n seashell keychain, i loved them. n of cos, thank u camille for getting me dat ADORABLE green diary, juz wat i needed. (im planning to write a story, haha) i'll try to post the photos we took next time. oh n at 11pm, en-ting n her church friends came over to give us a caroling session, n then we had a countdown with party poppers. it was way fun.
i have found another obsession. SCENTS. be it scented candles, scented crystals, potpourri (is dat how u spell it?) or juz plain old bottles of scents, i luuuurve them. they help calm me down, especially when im angry, excited or nervous. im gonna start investing in them.

yessss!!! urs truly got into the sch of her choice! i'll be going to st. nicholas girls next year! well technically im going tomorrow, to register, but nvm abt dat. WOOHOO!!! best of all, i wont be alone there, cos crystal, erica n lin jian got in too! the only thing which can bum me out now is the thought of not being able to get any free money. i wish i was a singaporean, instead of juz a PR. everyone in choir got the eagles award, n i bet everyone in my class got some sort of scholarship money (or sth like dat) too! dats a lot of money. sigh... oh well, im juz happy for all my friends who DID get it.

yesterday i went to cd rama, planning to use my $20 voucher to buy the hannah montana cd (which my dad said had come out). sadly, it still wasnt out yet, but surprise surprise, the Aly n AJ cd was! ive been looking for it for ages, n u can only find it overseas. the cd even had the word "imported" on it. see how special it is? so imagine my extreme happiness in finding it. all i had to do was pay $1.95 extra. so totally worth it. i m ELATED.

soooo sry i didnt get to post for really long. u had to pay 8 australian dollars just to use the internet for 30 mins! but i finally managed to find a place where they only charged $2 for 21 mins, which is how i got to tag at hameed, camille n atiqah's blog. anyway... the trip was AWESOME!!! we went to brisbane for 10 days n went to many other places there. the big pineapple farm, the honeybee farm (interested, hameed?), the ginger factory, underwater world, movie world n dreamworld. im telling u, the rides at movieworld n dreamworld were so fast n scary u would find urself wondering how come ur still alive. at movieworld, the best rides were superman escape n scoobydoo spooky coaster. the first was so fast ur head would keep flopping n the other actually went down backwards! then at dreamworld, there was this ride called the claw where its sth like the viking except they swing u round n round SUPER fast. look down n u can see ppl as ants. then there was another one called the wipeout where they turned u 360 degrees! totally stomach-churning. n of cos there were log rides in both theme parks. sure, the rides were scary, but i LOVED it. escape theme park is NOTHING compared to those rides, which reminds me, i dun think i can go for our escape theme park outing, girls. my mom said ive ridden too many scary rides for 1 month. how sad, ive nvr been to escape theme park n i REALLY wanna go. oh well, maybe next time. pictures come tomorrow, or maybe later. so, toodles!
oh n i cant believe dat when i was gone, ms mahal hooked up with HADY MIRZA n became cleo's cover girl! wowie!

woohoo, im all better now, so the trip is confirmed, unless something extremely horrible n last-minute happens. juz 2 more days to the flight, i can hardly wait! in 2 days (technically its 3, since our flight is at night n we'll reach there in the morning), i'll be in australia! away from this boring old place. i might still be able to blog a bit, but dun expect much. ooo, it'll be so much fun. lemme see, it will be the.... 3rd time i've been there, or is it the 4th? :P
anyway, we went to the national library with my cousin yesterday. the children's section is definitely smaller than the one at civic centre but they arranged it to look as if its somehow bigger than the one at cc. its very spacious, n they had loads more books there too. dun criticise me for going to the children's section, not all their books are babyish, they have many books for kids my age too. i borrowed 7 books. then aft dat we went to kenny rogers at suntec city for lunch. ribs again, yummy. haha.
my dad went to creative n bought a new handphone there. they gave him free portable speakers for buying it. they may not be green but they still work really well, n we're gonna bring them to australia. i gotta sign off now, i still have some packing to do. my dad is starting to read my blog quite often, so in case he sees this, "HI DAD!" :D
oh, to joel, i may look frail n skinny but how do u expect me to get gold for NAPFA if i wasnt fit?

i have always been fit as a fiddle, but juz last night, i had to get up 4 times in the night to vomit in the toilet bowl. maybe its best if i dun go into details. it all started with my brother getting the stomach flu. this heartless flu was then passed onto my sister. ming yeow told me to be careful in case i got it as well. but in the end, i still caught it, no matter how careful i was. when i got up at night for the 4th time, i was too scared to go to sleep cos i was afraid i would vomit again, so i stayed up watching tv from 2-3pm. but i was too tired so i still went back to sleep. i felt a little better in the morning, n my sister told me she n our brother had got up aft i went to sleep n watched superman returns. wowie. anyway, i've been to the doctor n he prescribed some medicine, same old same old. i came home, juz changed my clothes n flopped into bed. i slept for 3 n 1/2 hrs. got up, ate a little bread n drank loads of water then went back to bed. then i slept for another 2 n 1/2 hrs straight. n here i m now, blogging. thoughout the whole day, all i ate was a little piece of bread. dats all. im still not sure if i want dinner. ooo, n bad news is, my dad said dat if we (my sis n i, my bro is already ok) still dun recover by next friday, he'll have to cancel the australia trip. sob. have i mentioned dat this flu is extremely heartless?
