step not on a single crack, tossing salt behind your back.

and here is Hannah the Smart, whom i already posted about in one of the older posts. yup, this was when she came to my house and was trying to open the door by pushing the magical invisible buttons. oh yeah.

anyway, had CIP with Hannah, Lynette and CherylLim today, at the library in Bugis. you know, the biggest one. we turned up expecting to do 5 hours of handing out surveys/CIP, but only went home with 2. why? because the bloody library ran out of surveys for us to hand out cos we're just so darn efficient. so we had no choice but to sign out.

then, just when we're feeling relaxed and a teensy weensy bit glad that the awkward job of asking complete strangers to do surveys is over, surprise surprise, they reprint a whole new batch of surveys. the ever hardworking cheryl takes up the job, but the rest of us lazybums cant be bothered. so, in the end, we had to leave poor cheryl to do the task of completing 50 surveys on her own while we went off to fill our tummies. really REALLY sorry, cheryl D: but look at it this way, at least you got more hours than us :)

BUT, even though we were feeling horribly guilty, we still went to Bugis Junction to get food. long live old chang kee's curry puffs :D

hannah bought these octopus balls things, and lynette had packed bee hoon. then we took the train to raffles city, intending to eat by the Singapore River (my mum later commented on how romantic that was :/) sadly though, it was pouring. so, we ate our food on the steps leading to Standard Chartered. haha, we looked like a bunch of beggars :D

we wasted time taking jump shots and other pics, and basically, just acting stupid :D yay i took the best jump shots, guess i dont have slow reaction time then :D but the down side was that i only got one shot of myself D: oh well. oh and lynette's camera ran out of batteries so she was acting all emo.

hannah looks like she's really flying, while lynette looks like she's being sucked up. by aliens probably :D

hannah is photogenic, no matter what she says :D

***************************************************************

come to think of it, there are not many photos to post of chiangmai, unless you guys are interested in looking at pictures of tourist spots. which i wouldnt be. and im sad to say that there's not much to post about, even though we had more sightseeing in chiangmai than in bali. but anywayy...

dayONE: we went to this really nice Buddhist temple after we settled down in the hotel.
dayTWO: we went elephant riding at an elephant camp, saw the hill tribes and long-necked women (took photo with this uber cute girl), and went to different places to buy stuff.
dayTHREE: took the 4-hour car ride to chiangrai, and visited a hot spring where we cooked eggs, another beautiful temple, and the famous Golden Triangle *insert aweing "ooooh" sound*
dayFOUR: SHOPPING ALL DAY :D
and we went home on day five.

and thats about it, if you guys wanna see the long-necked women or something, just tag, and i'll post it :D

just one more thing before i go,
I CANT WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS! whoooo

if you bothered and managed to finish reading this extremely long post, i shake you warmly by the hand.
