step not on a single crack, tossing salt behind your back.

the grudge is over. i think.

anyway, we went to the chen su lan methodist children's home today. unlike my thinking, the home was very big and really nicely furnished. to be honest, it kind of reminded me of a condo. well, we were led into the multi-purpose hall where we were supposed to help some kids with their schoolwork, one-to-one. i just pulled up a chair and started chatting with this p5 boy and we got along pretty well. see how sociable i am ? :D after about 1 hour of work, they had playtime. so much for our thoughts of sensible, indoor playtime. the kids ran about screaming and playing games. half the class played catching with them. the other half crowded around the so called "cuter" kids and played stuff we brought along, like paper balls and bubbles and stuff. vanessa and i brought some touchable bubbles, and this boy ran around grabbing everyone's bubbles, talking in a raspy scary voice, "Give me bubbles, GIVE ME BUBBLES!", sticking it in his mouth, chewing it like chewing gum and spitting it out. the teacher said there were some "problems" with him. he even chased hong yee until she almost cried. almost.

but the main event that happened to me was this little p1 girl who looks like a 4 year old. she was really really cute (i dont deny), but she was damn irritating. i started playing hopscotch with her, and then i started to crack jokes about her. she kind of took it seriously, and then she screamed at me in her tiny, squeaky voice, "I DONT PLAY WITH YOU ANYMORE! I COMPLAIN TO TEACHER THAT YOU BULLY ME! BIG KIDS CANNOT BULLY SMALL KIDS!" so i said sorry and went away. then later i came back (haha) and she was playing with this other girl. they had an "obstacle" which was hard for them, but i said it was easy. so the little brat asked me to jump it, and when i did it, she flounced off and started playing on the other hopscotch. what. a. BRAT.

all the others said that i was being too harsh on her, but hello, she's just too arrogant. since she's cute, she attracts lots of attention, and then she'll start to think that she's lovable and stuff. i noticed that the less cute children were the ones with better behaviour. much better behaviour.

oh well, i've rattled on too much. hope you people actually bothered to read my post. i'll get something small for the first person to tag on my blog about anything i posted! hehehe...

btw, i edited my last post, thats why the date's all weird :)
