Today, Chanty came over to watch The Other Boleyn Girl which was pretty much a flop compared to the book (which has long ago been awarded the title of My Favourite Book).

2 things I have to say about the movie :
- I didn't want George to die ! It took me days to get over his unjustified death in the book, and now it's gonna take me even longer cos I witnessed the actor die ):
- Eric Bana has a gooood boddaye -whistles-

Maybe it's just my sick obsession with older guys ._.

Went to 313 after that to check out New Look + the 4-storey F21. I bought a dress ! Hoorah. F21 was fruitless cos the queues to the fitting rooms were such a put-off. Oh I love shopping, I want to shop more. (twitch)

I just realised that there's only 2 weeks of these pathetic holidays left, and I still have so much homework to do !

And then I realised that this is no huge revelation and nothing to get my knickers in a twist about.

Imma excited for tomorrow ! It has been ages since I last saw 6Diligent, considering I missed out on Teachers' Day thanks to StNicks' dumb 'lessons as per normal' rule. Hoozah ! I'll be able to stay out past 8pm for once :D All hail bbqs.

Anyway, caught New Moon with my dad and sister today. It was ... nice. Heaps better than Twilight, although I'm guessing once the cast caught the premiere on the big screen, they immediately rushed home and signed up for acting lessons. I still can't believe how much I laughed during the movie ._.

But yes, New Moon was a huge improvement, and there were actual scenes that made me tear. Dakota's cool character was still my favourite though. But then again, she's been my favourite child actress since Uptown Girls :)

It's people like Dakota who really make you think, "Damn, there's someone out there my age who's doing bigger and better things. What am I doing with my life ?"

And then you take a good look around and sigh, "Oh that's right. I'm spending my life in Singapore."

Oh the woes of a wannabe angmoh.

I'm back ! Tanned (was it ever possible ?!), enlightened and with a newfound love for The Simpsons.

Sydney was pleasant enough, with a few misfortunes along the way, but I LOVE SINGAPORE. I DO I REALLY DO ! So please, Mr Government, won't you subsidise me for the Russia trip ?

Anyhoo, i am not gonna post up any pictures of the trip, partly because there are over 800 which are already gonna be selectively reabsorbed into facebook, and partly because no one even reads my blog anymore. Oh great, so i am posting this to no one. HA !

Well then, non-existent reader, I just want to boast that on the flight home, I watched 3 whole movies ! Hoozah ! The Simpsons Movie, Being John Malkovich and Bandslam.
The first was hilariously stupid, the second was creepy but cool, and the third was so cookie-cutter Disney, which of course made it the best show since I'm a sucker for cute Disney movies

my entire first half of the holidays has been dedicated to choir choir CHOIR. preparing for the 26th is hell. yes, hell. and i should really embrace the fact that i've been sacrificing half my secondary life to choir ever since i stepped into the bach room for auditions.

but, sigh, what to do ? this is what you do when you love your cca. wholeheartedly 8)

im tired of playing the bad guy and constantly screaming at the sop ones these past few practices. come on guys ! you can do it without me threatening you and black-facing you all the time :/

went to gengen's confirmation w/ Nette & Nette last sunday. she looks so pretty in her tube ! ~

and today after choir (again), had lunch w/ Nette & Nette, Clara, Cassandra, Bing and Qianyi @ AMK Hub. we talked about choir for what, 2hours+ ? wonder if the seniors ever made such a big hooha over sectionals and juniors during their reign.

yes, so we are 2 days away from LYF day (HAHA DECIPHER THAT.) and also, freedom ! FREEEEEEEEEEDOM.

i am sneakily using my sister's computer because my own has died and lost its damn Internet connection.

shoe-shopping with weiting yesterday ! except we failed miserably and ended up stuffing ourselves with Ikea meatballs + fries and Popeye's biscuits (heheh, the biscuits was just me). i officially declare Tampines shoe-less and a bad place to shop, since weiting couldnt find her sweater/hoodies that she wanted either.
but im not complaining, considering that shopping the day before with momma and grandma yielded 2 dresses, 2 tops, tube (for low-cut shirt purposes), stockings and 4 bras totalling to a whooping $170. hee.

oh gawd i realise how bimbotic i sound rambling about shopping.

on a more studious note then, i sort of completed the Human Eye worksheet ! im determined to finish half of my homework before the Sydney trip, which is taking away 2 whole weeks of my precious holidays ! then my mum cant complain when i go out every day 8D

victory screeches + (slightly?) teary farewells + hugs + 305 photos = emotional trainwreck.
which pretty much summed up yesterday.

i know if i were an old girl i would kinda be sick of this school already, but well, since im not, it was a pretty sad occasion knowing that yesterday was the last official day in school. seeing the mep room all locked up, the choir room so empty, and all the "condemned" items lining the corridors was really heart-jerking. i've spent half my secondary school life in the first 2 rooms, i cant even imagine going anywhere else for lessons and choir ! and all the teachers leaving just downright SUCKS. i hereby proclaim that Ms Nair is my favourite teacher and i only realised it this year and now she's leaving too. along with other really great teachers like Ms Tan and, dare i say it, Mr Cher. and we didnt even get to give Mr Cher a proper farewell, which i absolutely whole-heartedly regret.
no use regreting anything now, guess i'll just have to treasure whatever and whoever is unfortunate enough to be part of my life, even if it means trying to accept Sherwood as a teacher.

on a hopefully lighter note, guess who's wearing contacts ?

even though they're only temporary (and daily contacts) just so i can get used to them, it's still kinda cool :D love the fact that my vision is sharp again without my having to constantly push my glasses up my nose. but it took like half an hour before successfully jabbing in the 2 damn lenses, resulting in a literally tearful but relieved Chai.

now. to get them out. hmm.

tsh, it's been ages since i last posted

Halloween last saturday was fun ^^ drizzled a little in the later part but we still got to collect quite a lot of loot >:)

sucks that next year, i'll be sitting at home, screaming as my mum tries to force textbook after textbook into my head.

so what's new ? hmm. "extra lessons" started, boring as hell but absolutely mandatory. i've decided to stay 100% positive and hardworking - IM GOING TO RUSSIA NO MATTER WHAT ! i just really really hope i'll be able to get some subsidy. i want to go overseas with SNChoir so badly ):

speaking of choir, it's practically the only pathetic rotting cherry on top of these weeks of torture. haha once again, choir girls' love for choir is unexplainable, so asking why is just a blatant waste of time. :D

urgh but choir today wasnt so fabulous, everyone in sop one (including me, i must admit -sobs-) was exceptionally screechy today. i couldnt even reach a G without cracking. so yeah, sop ones were bad, but it's alright, we'll pull through ! and i promise i wont show "angry face" again :/

and Josh Groban is by far the best singer that has ever walked (and is still walking) this planet. his voice is ... heavenly. that's the only word to describe it.

kinda glad i didnt pon school today, or else i would never have heard The Angel's voice :D once i went home i watched the You Are Loved music video over 5 times. and there was even a duet with Ellen D heheh.

oh but the duet for The Prayer with Celine Dion --> bagus !

my sister said he's a sissy but then she's my annoying little bratty relation. i beg to differ. i love his adorable confused puppydog/lost ducky face and his somewhat geeky demeanour. but his best feature is still his voice -swoons- 8)

o-kay ! i've decided to make the most of my life before my mum gets back my report card with the grades in black and white next friday !

In my depression, i forgot to send cyber hugs and thank every single diddly-duddly lovebug who wished me HAPPY BIRTHDAY last monday :D Reading all those facebook wall messages/smses really got me grinning like some happy fool.

AT LAST. THEY ARE OVER !!

so last thurs, after mep paper (which was horridious), went out with the MEP girls to catch (500) Days of Summer <3

and i shall just ignore everyone's protests of "He's so old !", "See those wrinkles !", and "Yeah his eyes are nice, but from the nose down he's just an old man".

i studied so much yesterday i felt like throwing up, and it paid off. the test was amazingly easy.

after washing off the liquid paper, i decided to be nice and wash the scissors.
